HFMC Wealth News Highlights – 2018
In September, HFMC Wealth were the lead sponsors of a special charity motoring event at Goodwood Motor Racing Circuit, raising over £65,000 for two charities:
- Hope for Tomorrow; bringing cancer care closer to patients’ homes via their Mobile Cancer Care Units (MCCUs)
- Wings for Life; spinal cord research foundation
The charities and participants were delighted with the day and we have committed to support the event, entitled Veloce, for a further three years with the goal of raising over £100,000 per year for these very worthy causes.
We have also committed to fund a full working day per year for each of our 85 staff to devote to charitable causes.
Welcoming Generic Financial Management
In September, HFMC Wealth welcomed Generic Financial Management to the group with 270 client families joining us.
The acquisition saw Generic directors David Verney and Marc Ruse become Private Client Directors at HFMC Wealth. Managing Director Paul Thomas will take up the role of Head of Business Development, while continuing to provide executive coaching as part of HFMC Wealth’s Adviser Development Programme.
Making carefully selected acquisitions is very much part of HFMC Wealth’s growth strategy.
Porsche Club of Great Britain
This year we signed a long-term agreement to become the exclusive wealth management partner to the Porsche Club of Great Britain. This collaboration gives HFMC Wealth exclusive access to providing the 22,000 Porsche Club members with wealth planning services and the right for us to use the Porsche and Porsche Club brands. HFMC Wealth was selected against offers from some of the best-known national wealth management firms.
