This week is Mental Health Awareness Week, at HFMC Wealth we have a few things planned to provide additional support to our people’s mental health and wellbeing. It’s essential to prioritise our mental wellbeing and for our people to feel comfortable and supported all year round.
Our week is starting off with “Light Bites & Feeling Alright”, allowing our people to open up conversations in the office around mental health whilst enjoying a drink and snacks, whilst we also encouraging our remote based people to do the same and check in on another colleague.
Later on in the week we are delighted to have Caroline Hounsell running a special virtual workshop focusing on how to manage stress and anxiety. Caroline is the founder of LoveMindLife and a founding member of MHFA England, and has been supporting positive mental health and awareness since 1997. As an accredited member of the British Association Counselling Psychotherapy (BACP) Caroline draws on the experience gained through her private practice to further develop her knowledge and skills as a mental health professional.
We will be rounding off Mental Health Awareness Week with a “Wellbeing Hour” giving our people back an hour of their time on Friday. This hour will give our people the opportunity to decompress and do something they enjoy outside of work. We look forward to seeing what everyone gets up too!
