What were you looking for in a firm for both you and your clients?

I was looking for a fully independent, Chartered financial advisory practice that me and my clients could be a part of for the long term.

 

What was the recruitment process like, and how did you come to choose HFMC?

It was clear to me from the start of the process that it was a company focused on their clients and the client outcomes, and it was all about putting the right advisers in front of them, and that’s really important for me.

 

When it came to choosing a firm, what were your key priorities?

I’ve always been keen for a company to be fully independent, because I think it leads to really positive client outcomes. Chartered status is important as well, because it represents the highest level of professionalism within a business and the ability to offer a full range of solutions for clients.

 

What does HFMC give you that helps you do your job effectively?

The support of a big business, a variety of investment management approaches, and my own team who I know are going to be in place to look after my clients moving forwards.

A really personal service, a full range of solutions, and the idea is that you stay with them through their financial journey from retirement all the way through to estate planning.

 

How does the way you work now feel compared to before you joined HFMC?

It’s been a really positive step for me. The people are really welcoming and supportive, and the clients all offer a glowing reception of the company.

 

What does working with HFMC offer clients?

There’s a great level of technical support behind the scenes, there’s a full range of offerings for clients, and it’s all about the long-term journey. From what I understand, people don’t leave this company.
